Wuhan's first metro loop linking 18 metro lines starts construction

全线开工！武汉首条地铁环线将与18条地铁换乘

On the morning of Nov. 30, the Wuhan Rail Transit Line 12 project started. With a total length of 59.9 kilometers, presently the loop line will be the longest in China and the second longest in the world, and will be the first metro loop line in Wuhan’s rail transit system. Altogether it has 37 stops, connecting Wuchang and Hankou railway stations, and can transfer to 18 subway lines.

11月30日上午，武汉轨道交通12号线工程全线开工。该线路全长59.9公里，是目前世界第二、国内最长的地铁环线，也是武汉轨道交通建设的首条环线。全线共设站37座，串联武昌火车站和汉口火车站，可与18条地铁线路换乘。

Half a million jobs offered for Wuhan's graduates at job fair

全国普通高校毕业生就业创业促进行动提供50多万个岗位

On Dec. 2, the 2021 National College Graduate Employment and Entrepreneurship Promotion Fair (Hubei·Wuhan) kicked off at Hongshan Gymnasium. This year, the Ministry of Education will hold a series of activities for the promotion of employment and entrepreneurship for college graduates nationwide for the first time. The event in Wuhan was the first. At the job fair, more than 500,000 jobs were offered by the participating enterprises.

Wuhan Professors' decade-long effort to assist Chang'e to take soil from moon

武汉教授十年助力嫦娥月球取土

At 11:11 a.m. on Dec. 1, the Chang'e-5 spacecraft successfully landed on the moon and has officially started working on the lunar surface for about two days to collect samples. This is the research that Wuhan helped to complete. Ten years ago, the teams headed by Professor Xiao Long, Professor Duan Longchen and Professor Li Dafo from China University of Geosciences (Wuhan) accepted the task to develop simulated lunar soil, draw geological and geomorphological maps of sampling points for the tasks of the Chang'e series, and work out what type of methods and drill bits to use.

12月1日11时11分，嫦娥五号落月，正式开始持续约2天的月面工作，采集月球样品。这是武汉参与研究、助力完成的工作。早在10年前，中国地质大学（武汉）肖龙教授团队、段隆臣教授团队和李大佛教授团队接受任务，为嫦娥系列任务研制模拟月壤、绘制采样点地质地貌地图，研究使用何种钻探方法取样、采用何种型号钻头。

The 2020 Global Digital Trade Conference and the 11th China Wuhan (Hankoubei) Commodities Fair kicked off on Nov. 28. This is the largest digital trade event Wuhan has held after the signing of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP). From Dec. 3 to 6, the 29th China Food Expo and China (Wuhan) International Food Fair will be held at the Wuhan International Expo Center. The fair covers an area of 50,000 square meters, and is free for the public to enter and search for delicious food from all over the world.

12月3日至6日，第29届中国食品博览会暨中国(武汉)国际食品交易会在武汉国际博览会中心举行。展区面积达5万平方米，市民可免费入场，寻觅天南地北的美味。
