Thoroughfare construction for Wuhan City Cluster commences

武汉城市圈大通道启动建设

Construction on the Shuangliu Yangtze River Bridge and its connection projects kicked off on Dec. 7, marking the official start of the thoroughfare construction for the Wuhan City Cluster. The thoroughfare is composed of four highway sections and two bridges, with a total length of 360 kilometers. The project will be a core framework and form a one-hour commuting circle within the Wuhan City Cluster.

12月7日新港高速双柳长江大桥及接线项目开工建设，标志着武汉城市圈大通道正式启动建设。武汉城市圈大通道全线分为四个路线段和两座长江大桥建设，里程约360公里。计划2025年全线通车。其功能在于打造武汉城市圈“1小时通勤圈”核心架构。

Wuhan launches Yangtze River Ecological Corridor project

武汉启动百里长江生态廊道项目

Wuhan launched the Yangtze River Ecological Corridor project on Dec. 7, initiating a new chapter of the Yangtze River protection scheme. The total length of 170 kilometers of the shoreline area consists of two sections, one from Junshan to the Changhe River estuary on the Yangtze River, and the other from the Changfeng Bridge to the confluence of the Yangtze and Han rivers. The project highlights ecological preservation as it will minimize artificial intervention.    

12月7日，武汉启动百里长江生态廊道项目,开启了践行长江大保护战略的全新篇章。项目规划范围涵盖岸线总长170公里，长江上游至军山，下游至长河入江口；汉江上游至长丰桥，下游至两江交汇处，规划注重“自然”“郊野”的概念，减少人为造景，保持原汁原貌的生态特色。

First batch of projects signed at Sino-French Peninsula Town

武汉·中法半岛小镇迎来首批项目集中签约

On Dec. 7, the signing ceremony for the first batch of the core demonstration projects of the Sino-French Wuhan Eco-Demonstration City was held at the intended location of the Wuhan Sino-French Peninsula Town. The ceremony witnessed dozens of domestic and international enterprises signing agreements related to 21 projects.The Wuhan Sino-French Peninsula Town occupies an area of 8.2 square kilometers. It aims to build into a demonstration area of Sino-French ecological wisdom and a model of international cooperation. 

12月7日，位于中法武汉生态示范城的武汉·中法半岛小镇迎来首批项目集中签约。武汉·中法半岛小镇项目总面积约8.2平方公里，目标打造中法生态智慧示范与国际合作标杆。此次签约活动，吸引数十家中法企业参加，涉及21个项目。

   One more international school starts construction

   武汉新增一所外籍人员子女学校

On Dec. 5, ISA International School Wuhan, with an investment of RMB 1.06 billion, started construction in Wuhan Economic and Technological Development Zone. It is Wuhan's fourth international school designed for foreigners' children after Wuhan Maple Leaf International School, Wuhan Yangtze International School and Wuhan French International School. The school plans to open in September 2022.

12月5日，总投资10.6亿元的武汉爱莎国际学校在中国车谷破土动工。该校是继武汉枫叶外籍人员子女学校、武汉长江国际学校、武汉法国国际学校之后的第四所外籍人员子女学校，计划2022年9月正式开学。

Japanese director returns to explore more about the city

日本导演再度来汉拍片

Ryo Takeuchi, a Japanese director who directed the hit documentary “Long Time No See, Wuhan,” returned to Wuhan to have a fan meeting on Dec. 5. He also came with a new film project that focuses on the current life and development of the city. He said: “It is not enough if we have only ‘Long Time No See, Wuhan’ about Wuhan. We will continue to focus our lens on the city and introduce the real Wuhan to the world.”  

拍摄纪录片《好久不见，武汉》引发全网刷屏的日本导演竹内亮12月5日重回武汉，与观众举行见面会。除此之外他继续在武汉拍摄，关注武汉的发展。他说道：“只有《好久不见，武汉》是不够的，我们还要继续拍摄、介绍真实的武汉。武汉，我们会一直拍下去。”
