On January 4th, a video interview with Yu Xi, a senior journalist from Changjiang Daily, was aired on the Spanish Channel of CGTN (China Global Television Network), the international news arm of China Central Television (CCTV). In response to the U.S. military strike against Venezuela, Yu Xi analyzed the bilateral relations between the United States and Venezuela, elaborated on the logic of Donald Trump's foreign policy, and highlighted the United States' strategic, energy and geopolitical interests in Venezuela.
