Students sit zhongkao amid blessings

On June 20 and 21, about 75,300 junior high school graduates in Wuhan had their high school entrance exam, or zhongkao. Outside 80 exam sites within the city, parents and teachers cheered for the candidates by wearing customized T-shirts and holding signs with encouraging slogans and images.

6月20日-21日，武汉市7.53万名初中毕业生迎来中考。全市80个考场外，送考的家长和老师们手持定制的“必胜”手牌，穿着定制的“加油”T恤，花式为考生们加油鼓劲。

Graduation season in full swing

又到一年毕业季

Universities and schools in Wuhan are now celebrating the graduation season in various ways. To mark the occasion, each of them is observing their graduation customs while bringing forth new ideas at the same time. We can see the graduation parade made up of modern agricultural equipment at Huazhong Agricultural University on June 20, the largest graduation ceremony ever held at Central China Normal University which was attended by 11,184 graduates of 2020 and 2021 on June 13, and the American-style graduation ceremony staged at Wuhan Yangtze International School on June 17.

武汉各学校正在以各种方式庆祝毕业季。在沿袭传统毕业季的习俗外，学校也在努力创新庆祝方式。华中农业大学举行了由现代农机装备组成的“钢铁长龙”毕业巡游，华中师范大学2021届和2020届毕业生共同见证了万人毕业典礼，长江国际学校则用一场美式毕业典礼为毕业生们的高中生涯画上了一个完美的句号。

Paradise Walk opens

首座“天街”开业

Wuhan Jiangchen Paradise Walk, a shopping mall located along Qingnian Road in Jianghan District, opened on June 19. The mall owns nearly 300 brands. Currently on display is Hello Kitty's first Modern Times exhibition in China, as well as Central China's first trend toy show. In coming years, four more Paradise Walks will open in Wuhan.

6月19日，位于江汉区青年路的武汉江宸天街正式开业，引入近300家品牌。天街里，HELLO KITTY摩登时代中国首展、WTTS华中首届潮玩展吸引大量武汉潮人打卡发圈。武汉白沙、滨江、光谷、长丰四座天街也将在未来几年里陆续开业。

9 cities set up Comprehensive Window

武汉城市圈九城同设"通办窗口"

On June 17, Wuhan and eight other cities — Huangshi, Ezhou, Huanggang, Xiaogan, Xiantao, Xianning, Tianmen, and Qianjiang — each simultaneously opened their own Comprehensive Window, and jointly launched the first group of 106 government services. Those services are related to market supervision, public security, transportation, civil affairs, medical insurance, human resources and social security, natural resource planning and provident funding. Local companies and people can use either the website http://zwfw. hubei.gov.cn/ or the windows to deal with services.

6月17日，武汉、黄石、鄂州、黄冈、孝感、仙桃、咸宁、天门、潜江等九城同步开设了“武汉城市圈通办综合窗口”，联合推出了首批106项政务服务事项“跨市通办”清单，聚焦市场监管、公安、交通、民政、医保、人社、自然资源规划、公积金等领域。即日起，企业群众可通过“湖北政务服务网”或市区两级政务服务大厅“跨市通办”专窗，办理相关服务。

As the first high-end new-energy passenger car brand made in Wuhan, Dongfeng Motor Corporation's electric vehicle Voyah FREE was officially launched on June 19 and will be delivered to customers next month.

6月19日，作为武汉产的首款高端新能源乘用车品牌, 东风公司高端自主电动车品牌岚图FREE正式上市，并将于下个月开始批量交付给客户。

'Summer of Wuhan' starts

The opening ceremony of the 44th "Summer of Wuhan" festival was held at Wuhan Municipal Citizens' Art Gallery on the night of June 18. The ceremony kicked off with a choral performance, followed by an assortment of music, dance, and opera shows. In the following days, an array of activities, including street music, classic operas, folk art displays, exhibitions and film screenings, will take place.

6月19日，第44届武汉之夏开幕式专场文艺演出在市群艺馆小剧场上演。开幕式上的节目通过音乐、舞蹈、戏剧、曲艺等形式，展现了武汉的历史变迁和新时代面貌。接下来，还将有街头音乐、经典戏曲、民俗派对、展览及电影等多项活动陆续推出。
