City celebrates CPC centenary

英雄城喜迎建党100周年

A grand gathering celebrating the centenary of the Communist Party of China was held at Tian'anmen Square on the morning of July 1. Throughout Wuhan, streets and laneways, as well as parks and squares, have been embellished with flowers. Metro and bus stations and electronic screens have been utilized to tell the history of the CPC. From June 25 to July 5, light shows with the theme of the CPC centenary are being staged along the Yangtze and Han rivers every night from 8:00 p.m.

7月1日上午，庆祝建党100周年大会在天安门广场隆重举行。在江城武汉，“党的盛典 人民的节日”氛围浓厚。在武汉的街头巷尾，各大广场花团锦簇，公交、地铁、公共场所电子大屏等被讲述党史等内容的海报装点一新。6月25日到7月5日，江城武汉每晚8时开始播放庆祝中国共产党成立100周年主题灯光秀。

Director Huang Jianxin screened his latest movie "1921" at Wuhan University on June 26. In attendance were the movie's leading actors, Wang Renjun, Zhu Yilong, Shi Pengyuan, and Liu Jiawei. Set in 1921, the movie presents a panoramic view of the founding of the Communist Party of China 100 years ago. This movie was officially released nationwide on July 1.

26日，导演黄建新，主演王仁君、朱一龙、史彭元、刘家祎等携影片《1921》来武汉大学路演。《1921》影片聚焦发生在1921年前后的故事，以中国共产党第一次全国代表大会召开前后数月的历史细节为主线，回溯往昔，讲述建党历程。该影片于 7 月 1 日全国上映。

Wuhan-Hong Kong flights to resume

7月14日起 "武汉-香港"航线重启

Cathay Pacific will resume its Wuhan-Hong Kong flight on July 14 and will continue to offer this route every Wednesday. The flight from Wuhan to Hong Kong will provide passenger transport service, while the flight from Hong Kong to Wuhan will only provide cargo transport service for now. Passengers on Wuhan-Hong Kong flights can transfer within 24 hours to other places like Bangkok, Dubai, Los Angeles, London, Manila, and New York.

国泰航空的武汉-香港航线将于7月14日重启，每周三运营一班。武汉前往香港的航班提供载客服务，香港前往武汉的航班暂时只提供载货服务。乘坐由武汉出发到香港的航班，旅客可在24小时内中转接驳至曼谷、迪拜、洛杉矶、伦敦、马尼拉、纽约等多个目的地。

Local railway starts summer transport season on July 1

武铁暑期运输7月1日启动

As the summer vacation approaches, many citizens are engaged in planning for their summer travels.

暑期将至，不少市民开始着手准备暑期出游计划，纷纷预订出行机票或火车票。

The railway's summer transport season will start on July 1 and will last until August 31, a total of 62 days. During the period, the China Railway Wuhan Group will run nine additional pairs of long-distance high-speed trains and is expected to transport an average of 545,000 passengers daily.

暑期铁路运输将于7月1日启动，持续至8月31日止，共计62天。暑运期间，武铁将增开9对长途动车，预计日均发送旅客54.5万人次。

Summer airline ticket booking has reached a peak. Low-price tickets to some popular tourist destinations are increasingly scarce. People in the industry suggest that citizens with travel plans book tickets in advance.

目前暑期机票预订也迎来热潮，很多旅游城市航班的低价机票已所剩不多。业内人士建议有出行计划的市民尽量提前抢票。

Rain showers in summer are sudden and unpredictable. After a rain wash, the weather is clear and the city presents a spectacular view. The changing clouds, stunning scenery along the riverside and mist-shrouded skyline turn the city into a fairyland. These scenes were captured through the lens.

夏日的雨，经常是说下就下，一场大雨之后，城市就呈现出水洗般的明亮和辽阔。变幻的云彩、壮美的江景、云雾缭绕宛如仙境的天际线，被捕捉和定格在镜头中。
