Wuhan issued its first high-temperature orange warning this year on July 15 when the temperature in the urban area rose to over 35℃. Animals at the Wuhan Zoo welcomed their ice blocks and iced fruit and vegetables to get through the summer heat.

7月15日，武汉发布了今年首个高温橙色预警，城区气温攀升至35℃以上。武汉动物园里的野生动物也领到了高温福利——大冰块和冰镇水果、蔬菜。

To encourage the red pandas to cool off on the ice, zookeeper Wang Gaofeng sliced apples and put them on the ice blocks along with fresh bamboo leaves. The red pandas chewed on the iced apples, while black and brown bears happily chomped on iced watermelon and cucumbers.

为了吸引小熊猫到冰块上乘凉，饲养员王高峰将苹果切片，同新鲜竹叶一起放到冰块上。小熊猫吃上了冰镇苹果、黑熊和棕熊坐享冰西瓜和冰黄瓜。
