Wuhan Cloud, the country's first cloud system named after a city, was officially launched on Sept. 4.

In November 2020，the Wuhan Industrial Investment Development Group and Huawei inked a cooperation agreement to jointly build Wuhan Cloud. "Wuhan Cloud provides cloud computing services for governments and enterprises, making data storage and analysis more centralized, efficient and secure," said Zhong Shoucheng, chairman of the Wuhan Cloud Computing Technology Co., Ltd.

2020年11月，武汉产业投资发展集团与华为公司签约共建武汉云。 “武汉云为政府和企业提供云计算服务，让数据存储、分析更加集约、高效、安全。” 武汉云计算科技有限公司董事长钟收成介绍道。

On the same day, the Wuhan Cloud Digital Economy Industry Innovation Consortium was established, which is composed of enterprises and universities such as FiberHome, Tencent, KylinSoft, Wuhan University, and Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Also opening up was the Wuhan Digital Economy Headquarters Area that mainly accommodates cloud computing businesses. Currently, 17 leading companies have signed agreements to settle at the area.

依托于武汉云成立的武汉云数字经济产业创新联合体同日宣告揭牌。该联合体由烽火、腾讯、麒麟软件等企业及武汉大学、华中科技大学等高校共同组建。以云计算产业为核心的武汉云数字经济总部区同步开园。首批17家头部企业签约入驻该区域。
