Online reservations for the 2021 Wuhan Rural Travel Festival travel coupons officially started at 9 a.m., Sept. 9 and will last until Sept. 30. A total of 23 scenic spots in Wuhan have participated in this activity. During the festival, both locals and travelers from other COVID-19 low-risk areas will share in 800,000 coupons that will be distributed in three lots. Each ID number is allowed to make a reservation for up to three scenic spots.

2021武汉乡村旅游惠民活动于9月9日上午9点开启线上预约。此次活动共有23家武汉市景区参与，将持续到9月30日。活动期间，将面向本地市民以及全国疫情低风险地区游客，派送80万张武汉旅游惠民券（电子券），分3轮投放。每位游客（以身份证号为准）最多可成功预约3个景区。

More than 40 tourist attractions in Hubei are offering teachers free tickets or special discounts to celebrate the 37th Teachers' Day. Visitors accompanying teachers can also enjoy discounts in some tourist spots.

为庆祝第37个教师节，湖北40余家景区为教师们送来了免门票、半价票的惊喜福利，部分景区对教师随行亲友也提供优惠。

On Sept. 4, the first weekend of the new semester since China announced the policy to ease the burden caused by off-campus training of academic school subjects such as Chinese, English and math, our reporters visited different kinds of training institutions in Wuhan and found that sports and arts training institutions had gained in popularity. Many parents and students expressed their support for the policy as it allows students to develop their own interests at weekends.

9月4日，中小学生迎来了新学期的第一个周末。长江日报记者兵分多路，深入武汉市各类培训机构调查发现，“双减”政策后，艺术体育类培训成为“香饽饽”。不少家长和学生对此表示支持，孩子们可以利用周末的时间来培养一些兴趣爱好。

Wuhan Cloud officially launched

武汉建起全国第一朵“城市云”

Wuhan Cloud, the country's first cloud system named after a city, was officially launched on Sept. 4. The Wuhan Industrial Investment Development Group and Huawei inked a cooperation agreement to jointly build Wuhan it in November last year. On the same day, the Wuhan Digital Economy Headquarters Area opened. Currently, 17 leading companies have signed agreements to locate there.

9月4日，全国首个以城市名命名的城市云“武汉云”正式启用。当日，依托武汉云成立的武汉云数字经济总部区同步开园，首批17家行业头部企业签约入驻。去年11月，武汉产业投资发展集团与华为公司签约共建武汉云。

Wuhan-Shiyan High-speed Railway launches 'discounted tickets'

Two types of discounted tickets were launched on Sept. 8 on all the bullet trains running along the Wuhan-Shiyan High-speed Railway, the first type for 20 trips in ninety days and the second for 60 trips in thirty days.

9月8日起，汉十高铁线路上开行的所有动车组列车推出“计次票”和“定期票”两种新型票制产品，在原有票价上享受一定的折扣优惠。

Upgraded Gaoxin Avenue with two-way 14 lanes

双向14车道！升级版高新大道来了

After two years of reconstruction by WISDRI Engineering & Research Incorporation Ltd., Gaoxin Avenue has been completed recently. The 10.7-km-long avenue is now a two-way 14-lane thoroughfare. More than 500 smart street lamps were set on both sides, which will provide various functions such as intelligent lighting, 5G base stations, urban monitoring and traffic management. Hundreds of leading industrial enterprises have located along the avenue in recent years.

历时两年，由中冶南方工程技术有限公司总承包建设的高新大道综合改造工程日前完成全部收尾工作。该工程全长10.7公里，双向14车道，两侧立着500多盏智慧路灯，能实现智能照明、5G基站、城市监控、交通管理等多种功能。近年来，高新大道沿线先后汇集了数百家行业龙头企业。

Fifth China Hanzheng Street Clothing Expo opens

第五届中国·汉正街服装服饰博览会开幕

The Fifth China Hanzheng Street Clothing Expo and the 2021 Longteng Men's Fashion Week opened on Sept. 8 and will last until Sept. 10. More than 20,000 merchants and over 1,000 brand representatives from all over the country will come together for exchanges and cooperation. Meanwhile, Hanzheng Street will join in hands with 11 colleges and universities in Hubei to hold an original clothing designer competition which will last for one year. The design results will be displayed at next year's clothing expo.

2021年9月8日，第五届中国·汉正街服装服饰博览会暨2021龙腾国际时尚男装周开幕，将持续至9月10日。来自全国各地的2万余家服贸专业客商和1000余家品牌商将进行交流合作。同时，汉正街将联合湖北省11所高等院校，举办为期一年的服装原创设计师大赛，设计成果将在2022年服博会展示。
