2021 Global Digital Trade Conference opens
2021全球数字贸易大会开幕

The 2021 Global Digital Trade Conference took place in Wuhan on Oct. 12 and 13. Diplomatic envoys in China, well-known experts and scholars from home and broad, as well as heads of Fortune Global 500 companies, well-known foreign trade enterprises and industrial internet enterprises attended the opening ceremony. At the conference, a ceremony for purchase contract signings between Hubei and well-known foreign trade enterprises and a cooperation agreement signing ceremony for the establishment of a global digital trade alliance were also held.
10月12日-13日，2021全球数字贸易大会在武汉举行。多位驻华外交使节，国内外知名专家学者，世界500强、知名外贸企业、产业互联网企业负责人出席。大会期间还举行了全国知名外贸企业湖北采购签约仪式和全球数字贸易联盟成立合作签约仪式。

Store for SCO imports unveiled

A store featuring imported goods from countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) opened at Wanguocheng, Hankoubei on Oct. 13. Occupying an area of 3,600 square meters, it showcases over 700 types of imported goods from 17 SCO countries. These goods, ranging from Iranian carpets and Russian vodkas to spices, snacks and agricultural products, are full of national character.
上合组织国家进口馆（以下简称上合馆）于10月13日在汉口北万国城正式开馆。该馆占地面积约3600平方米，设有17个国家展区，展示来自各上合组织国家的700余种商品。入驻产品涵盖各国特色，包括伊朗地毯、俄罗斯进口伏特加、进口香料、进口零食和农产品等。

City starts booster shots
我市启动新冠疫苗“第三针”加强接种

Wuhan launched a booster shot of COVID-19 vaccines for its residents in all its various districts, according to Wuhan Center for Disease Control & Prevention on Oct. 13. Local citizens who are aged 18 and above and completed two shots of inactivated coronavirus vaccination or the single-shot Ad5-nCOV vaccination six months ago can consult with medical workers in a nearby vaccination service center before they are ready to take the booster shot.
10月13日从武汉市疾病预防控制中心获悉，我市各区目前已陆续启动新冠疫苗加强免疫接种工作。18岁及以上人群完成两剂次灭活疫苗或一剂次腺病毒载体疫苗接种满6个月，可前往就近的接种点咨询接种。

Local species including the finless porpoise presented at COP15

The first part of the 15th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP15) kicked off in Kunming on Oct. 11. Wuhan's local species including the Chinese sturgeon, the Yangtze finless porpoise and the dawn redwood were presented to the global audience via the online display area for species in China.
10月11日，联合国《生物多样性公约》第十五次缔约方大会(COP15)第一阶段会议在昆明开幕。中华鲟、江豚、水杉等具有武汉元素的生物进入“中国馆线上展”主展区，面向全球展出。

Wuhan Games to begin this Saturday
武汉市运动会本周六正式开幕

The opening ceremony for the 11th Wuhan Games will take place at Wuhan's Wuhuan Sports Center on the evening of Oct. 16. This is another large-scale comprehensive sports event after the 2019 Military World Games.
10月16日晚，武汉市第十一届运动会开幕式将在五环体育中心举行，这是2019年军运会后武汉举办的又一项大型综合性运动会。

17th China Theater Festival underway
第十七届中国戏剧节火热进行中

The 17th China Theater Festival kicked off with the opening performance "Mother" from Wuhan Beijing Opera Theater on Oct. 9. The festival will last until Oct. 28, during which period a total of 31 performances, covering dramas, operas, children's plays, and 14 types of traditional Chinese Operas, will be staged in Wuhan.
10月9日，第十七届中国戏剧节在武汉京剧院带来的现代京剧《母亲》中拉开帷幕。戏剧节将持续至10月28日，期间来自全国的31台剧目，涵盖14个戏曲剧种以及话剧、歌剧、儿童剧，将在武汉轮番上演。

2nd Graduates Art Fair (Wuhan) held
第二届大学生艺术博览会（武汉）举办

The 2nd Graduates Art Fair (Wuhan) was unveiled at Wuhan International Conference & Exhibition Center on Oct. 9 and will remain open to the public until Oct. 17. The fair showcases over 3,000 artworks by over 800 art graduates and young artists from around 150 institutions of higher education in 15 countries.
10月9日，第二届大学生艺术博览会（武汉）开幕，即日起至10月17日在武汉国际会展中心面向公众开放。本届武汉大艺博吸引了来自全球15个国家近150所高等院校800多位艺术学子及青年艺术家超过3000件作品参展。
