A workshop for young African designers opened on Oct. 9 at College of Art and Design, Wuhan Textile University.

9日，非洲青年设计师工作坊在武汉纺织大学艺术与设计学院开幕。

Themed on fashion and Wuhan, the workshop will be joined by 29 foreign students from Africa and other parts of the world. These participants will receive a 12-day training on traditional Chinese art and modern design from 18 designers, artists, and scholars.

本次非洲设计师工作坊将以“时尚·武汉”为主题，并邀请18位设计师、艺术家、学者，为29名来自非洲各国及其他地区的在汉留学生进行12天集中培训，学员将在此学习中国传统文化艺术和现代设计等课程。

The workshop is part of activities of the 2021 Wuhan Design Biennale. Its participants' artworks from the training will be on display at the college's art museum.

工作坊是2021年武汉设计双年展活动之一。学院的最终学习成果，将在武汉纺织大学艺术与设计学院美术馆展出。
