Wuhan Motor Show 2021 kicks off

The Wuhan Motor Show 2021 kicked off at the Wuhan International Expo Center on Oct. 21 and will last until Oct. 26. Over 300 exhibitors are there to showcase more than 100 domestic and international vehicle brands. The show has been held on 21 occasions since 1995.

10月21日,第二十二届武汉国际汽车展览会在武汉国际博览中心开幕,并将持续至26日。300多参展商将携100余国内外汽车品牌齐聚武汉。武汉国际车展自1995年创办以来,成功举办了二十一届。

China 5G + Industrial Internet Conference to return in November

中国5G+工业互联网大会11月再度召开

The 2021 China 5G + Industrial Internet Conference will be held at China Optics Valley Convention & Exhibition Center from Nov. 19 to 21. This will be the second time that the conference is held in Wuhan, following the previous one in November last year. More than 20 themed meetings and an exhibition of 5G + industrial internet achievements will be held during the conference this year. Four exhibition areas will display a number of key 5G technologies and 5G applications in key industries.

2021中国5G+工业互联网大会将于2021年11月19日—21日在光谷科技会展中心召开。这是继去年11月首届中国5G+工业互联网大会在汉举行后,再次落地武汉。今年大会将举办20余场专题会议,并同步举办5G+工业互联网成果展,设立4个主题展区,重点展示一批5G关键技术、5G应用的重点行业等。

Wuhan Games heat up in final stage

市运会进入白热化阶段

The opening ceremony of the 11th Wuhan Games took place at the Wuhuan Sports Center on Oct. 17 after over six months of preliminaries. The competition has now entered its most intense stage. By closing day on Oct. 26, millions of people will have participated.

10月17日,武汉市第十一届运动会开幕式在五环体育中心举行。开幕后,运动会进入白热化阶段。到10月26日闭幕当天,预计这场持续6个多月的体育盛会将有百万人参与。

Panlongcheng in top 100 Chinese archaeological discoveries of past century

The final list for the activity "Top 100 Chinese Archaeological Discoveries in a Century" was unveiled at the opening ceremony of the 3rd China Archaeology Congress held in Sanmenxia, Henan on Oct. 18. Six archaeological discoveries from Hubei, including the Shang-dynasty ruins of the Panlongcheng site located in Huangpi, Wuhan, are included on the list.

第三届中国考古学大会10月18日在河南省三门峡市举行。当日的开幕式上公布了“百年百大考古发现”,武汉盘龙城遗址等6处湖北考古遗址入选。

Diplomats from 10 countries 'discover Wuhan'

Between Oct. 17 and 19, diplomats from 10 embassies to China, such as Thailand, Malta, and Chile, toured Wuhan on the trip "Discover China — the Charming Yangtze River" organized by the Bureau of International Exchange and Cooperation under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. During their days in the city, they boarded the Zhiyin cruise, ascended the Yellow Crane Tower, walked along the East Lake Greenway, took the East Lake cruise, and visited the 1911 Revolution Museum and Wuhan Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.

10月17—19日,在文化和旅游部国际交流与合作局组织下,来自泰国、马耳他、智利等10国的驻华大使馆外交官来到武汉,参加“发现中国之旅——魅力长江”活动。在汉期间,他们登上“知音号”,登临黄鹤楼,游览东湖绿道,乘坐东湖游船,参观辛亥革命博物馆、武汉城市规划展览馆。

A new sea shipping channel for foreign trade

At 10 a.m. on Oct. 19, "Jiang Hai Zhi Da 19," a cargo ship loaded with 11,800 tonnes of corn arrived at the Yangluo Port. The ship is the first bulk cargo ship designed to travel on a specific route (between Zhoushan and Wuhan) in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River. This maiden voyage of the ship marked the opening of Wuhan's third sea shipping channel for foreign trade.

10月19日上午10时,装载1.18万吨玉米的"江海直达19"货轮抵达阳逻港。"江海直达19"是全国首制服务长江中游特定航线(舟山—武汉)江海直达散货船。该船首航,标志着武汉成功打通了出海的第三条外贸新通道。

ChinaSourcing Summit 2021 to take place next week

服博会下周举行

The 12th ChinaSourcing Summit will take place in Wuhan from Oct. 28 to 30, as announced at a Beijing press conference held by the Ministry of Commerce on Oct. 18. This will be the first time that the summit is held in the central region of China. The summit is a national-level service outsourcing event jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and an exemplary city.

10月18日,商务部在北京召开新闻发布会,宣布第12届中国国际服务外包交易博览会将于10月28日至30日在武汉举行,这也是首次选择中部地区举办。服博会是由商务部与服务外包示范城市共同主办的国家级展会。
