1 First China 5G + Industrial Internet Conference held in Wuhan

首届中国5G+工业互联网大会在汉举行

The China 5G + Industrial Internet Conference opened in Wuhan on Nov. 20, marking the first time this conference is to be held. It aims to promote the integration and development of 5G and the industrial Internet in a wider range, and a deeper and higher level, while at the same time it will help in the post-epidemic economic recovery and development of Hubei.

Currently, there are four industrial Internet demonstration bases in China, which include Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, and Wuhan.

2020中国5G+工业互联网大会20日在武汉开幕。大会是首次召开，旨在推动5G和工业互联网在更广范围、更深程度、更高水平上融合发展，同时助力湖北疫后重振和经济恢复发展。

据悉，目前全国范围内共有4个工业互联网产业示范基地，分别为北京、上海、深圳与武汉。

2 Final of hot talent show held in Wuhan

《中国好声音》在汉总决赛

For the first time ever, the final of the hit TV music talent show "Sing Sing! China 2020" (known previously as "The Voice of China") will be held in Wuhan. The final takes place tonight at the Wuhan Sports Center.

A 30-second Wuhan city promotional video will be broadcast beforehand. In a video to kick off the show, participants from Wuhan who took part in previous seasons of the show, as well as four mentors and the top five participants of this season's show, will pay tributes to the heroic city.

2020《中国好声音》总决赛将首次移师武汉，于11月20日在武汉体育中心唱响。

总决赛暖场环节将播放30秒的武汉城市宣传片，之后的总决赛开场片中，历届武汉籍学员、本季“好声音”4位导师，以及五强学员都将现身，表达对英雄城市的敬意。

3 20th COCPDC opens in Wuhan

第二十届华创会开幕

At 9:00 a.m. on Nov. 19, the 20th Conference on Overseas Chinese Pioneering and Developing in China kicked off at the East Lake International Conference Center in Wuhan, attracting more than 400 attendees from home and abroad to help with revitalization after the pandemic and to seek win-win cooperation.

The conference witnessed such events as the Wuhan Forum, the signing ceremony of various key projects, and the 7th Entrepreneurship Contest. There were also several special events such as Hubei Products Going Abroad and the Smart City High-Quality Development & Belt-and-Road Internationalization Forum.

11月19日上午9时，第二十届华侨华人创业发展洽谈会在武汉东湖国际会议中心开幕。400多位海内外嘉宾汇聚一堂，参与一场聚侨心侨力、助疫后重振、谋合作共赢的盛会。

本届华创会举行了武汉论坛、重点项目签约仪式、创业大赛颁奖和项目路演等。同时，还设有多个专场活动：智慧城市高质量发展暨“一带一路”国际化论坛、湖北产品“走出去”等。

4 East Lake provides model for other similar lakes

大美东湖斩获“全国唯一”

On the afternoon of Nov. 12, the results of a study that analyzed the "building of national demonstration rivers and lakes" was released and Wuhan's East Lake was on the list. The study presented models of water resource management to the country.

In November 2019, the Ministry of Water Resources began the construction of demonstration rivers and lakes nationwide and selected a preliminary group of 17 rivers and lakes which included East Lake, the only urban lake on the list.

11月12日下午，武汉东湖高分通过验收，建成“全国示范河湖”，为全国提供治水样板。

2019年11月，水利部在全国开展示范河湖建设，遴选出首批17个示范河湖建设名单，武汉东湖入选，是其中唯一一座城中湖。

5 Did you notice double rainbow?

你看到双彩虹了吗？

A stunning scene exploded on WeChat Moments on Nov. 17. At 5 p.m. after some minutes of rainfall, a rainbow appeared, spanning the sky in southeast Wuhan. Gradually it evolved into a double rainbow, which lasted 20 minutes.

11月17日，一幕绝美风景刷屏武汉人的朋友圈。下午5时整，阵雨过后，武汉上空东南方向一条彩虹挂上天边。慢慢演变成双彩虹，整个过程持续了20多分钟。
