He, the unborn, shall bring

From blood and brain

Songs that a child can sing

And common men:

Songs that the heart can share

And understand;

Simple as berries are

Within the hand:

Such a sure simpleness

As strength may have;

Sunlight upon the grass:

The curve of the wave.

他，还未出生的人，

将从激情和智慧中，

唱出幼童能唱、

常人能唱的歌：

心灵能够分享、

也能理解的歌；

像放于掌中的

果莓一样简朴：
